## Steps for Calculating Covariance

Step1: First find out the mean of x and y.

$\bar{x}$=$\frac{x_{1}+x_{2}+x_{3}+..........x_{n}}{n}$    and

$\bar{y}$=$\frac{y_{1}+y_{2}+y_{3}+..........y_{n}}{n}$

Step2:Then find out $\sum_{i=1}^{n}(x_{i}-\bar{x})(y_{i}-\bar{y})$

Step3: Substitute these values in the given equation.
