A Right Triangle is a triangle in which one angle is right angle (90$^o$) and and the other two remaining angles are equal.

In the above triangle, side "a" is the perpendicular side, side "c" is hypotenuse and side "b" is the base.
Finding Perimeter of the Right Triangle:
By given length of a and b, find the perimeter of a right triangle. We use Pythogorean theorem to find the unknown side c. Substitute a and b in the below formula and find hypotenuse c.

$a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}$
The perimeter of the right triangle is given by:
Perimeter = $a+ b+c$

Finding Area of the Right Triangle:
Area of right triangle is half of the base times height.

                            Area = $\frac{1}{2}$$\times base \times height$

                            Area = $\frac{1}{2}$$\times b \times a$Substitute a and b and the area of right triangle is calculated.
