# Rounding to the Nearest Hundredth Calculator

The numbers placed before decimal point is ones, tens, hundreds, etc and the numbers placed after decimal points are tenths, hundredths, thousandths, etc

For example, the given numbers is 7.021, tenth place is 0 , hundredths place is 2 and thousandths place is 1.

For instance, to round 5.342 to nearest hundredth place. only 2 place is required after the decimal point. We look at thousandths place, if the number is below 5, so we round down and rest of the numbers are dissolved.

- If the decimal numbers are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 it will be rounded down.

- If the decimal numbers are 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 it will be rounded up in tenth place by 1.
