Fractions are the numbers that are expressed in the form of $\frac{a}{b}$, where "a" is numerator and "b" is denominator. Simplifying a fraction means to reduce the fraction into its simplest form.
There are two methods to simplify.

Method 1:

1. Find common factor of both numerator and denominator.
2. Then, divide numerator and denominator by that common factor.
3. Repeat the same process until the fraction comes in its simplest form.

Method 2:

1. Find GCF of the numerator and denominator
2. Divide both numerator and denominator by that GCF.
